Don’t we want beginners to be able to use technologies too?

Tools that prevent beginners from obtaining in depth knowledge are problematic. Likewise tools that prevent experts from doing what they need to do are also problematic.

WaveMaker appears to avoid these issues with a standards based architecture that is both very easy to get started with and highly extensible if you do know what you’re doing. That’s not an easy balance to strike.

Yes, it is a drag and drop tool, but they haven’t hidden the ‘behind the scenes’ like many others tools. I could see this as a really good tool to enable beginners to learn to become experts.

It is some similar to Microsoft’s vs for asp.net. But one problem which i feel for these drag and drop tools, new comers do not understand what is happening behind the scene. so they do not get in depth knowledge which is necessary for complex applications. So experts may want to try this but not recmended for beginners.
