Unconventional Deconfiguration AntiPattern.
The framework or language suggests a solution, and the developer takes it upon him/herself to break the convention, resulting in code that can&#039;t be debugged easily by other developers.  Examples of this include using global variables instead of passing messages between objects, or using a GUI behavioral framework on top of an MVC frameworks (think lowpro on top of Rails.)]]></description>
